More than 4,000 recruits a year come to Training Center Cape May to take their first steps toward becoming men and women of the Coast Guard. When they graduate their friends and family want to come be part of the time honored military tradition. During the peak summer season, hotels run as high as $500 a night in Cape May, as opposed to the U.S. average is $208. Ensuring our Coast Guard families and visiting family and friends have affordable hotel rooms is extremely important.
